Nate Shadle is a devoted husband to Melissa Shadle, and father of two amazing children. Born in Germany and raised there until the age of 12, he later relocated to Scottsdale, Arizona, where his entrepreneurial spirit emerged during high school. At 18, Nate began honing his skills in finish carpentry, driven by a passion for craftsmanship and innovation. Influenced by his appreciation for German engineering, he approaches every project with precision and creativity.

Nate specializes in architecturally focused projects, partnering with clients who value innovative designs and high-quality craftsmanship. His commitment to excellence is reflected not only in his work but also in his dedication to building lasting relationships with clients and industry professionals.

Outside of work, Nate enjoys spending quality time with his family, snowboarding, lake days, hiking, and participating in Entrepreneur Organization (EO) events. As a tech enthusiast, he relies on his iPad Pro and laser distance measurer to enhance efficiency and precision on the job.

For Nate, the most rewarding aspect of owning his company is the opportunity to collaborate with talented clients and industry experts while leading a team of highly skilled and reliable employees.

Melissa Shadle brings over a decade of experience in business operations and leadership to LEICHT Scottsdale. Her professional journey began in real estate in 2011, following her move from her hometown of Tucson, AZ, to Tempe, where she met her husband, Nate Shadle. In 2015, she played a pivotal role in launching their first construction business while also embracing motherhood.

Since then, Melissa has been instrumental in the growth and success of their ventures, overseeing operations and ensuring seamless business functionality. Her strategic approach and commitment to excellence have helped shape the company's culture and efficiency.

Beyond her professional responsibilities, Melissa is a devoted mother to two children, balancing her career with supporting her son’s baseball pursuits and her daughter’s dance competitions. She enjoys hiking, family vacations, and fostering a strong company culture. Passionate about building community, Melissa takes pride in creating a workplace where employees feel like family, regularly hosting company events to strengthen team connections.

Brenna has always had a passion for design, beginning with a childhood spent rearranging bedroom furniture and pursuing interior design studies at ASU. Her entrepreneurial spirit and detail-oriented personality led her to a personal assistant position for a builder/designer in her early years, where she quickly carved out a successful career. She thrives on supporting her team and naturally fell into organizational roles. Being a part of LEICHT Scottsdale, she appreciates the larger mission of our company and our shared commitment to integrity.

Outside of work, she embraces the outdoors, loves food, yoga, and cherishes time with friends and family. Living in Arizona, she couldn’t live without the sunshine that greets her every morning. Brenna is driven by her purpose to contribute and make our built environment on Earth beautiful. With a passion for a transitional collected design aesthetic that blend history and modern styles, she enjoys being a part of mid-century projects.

Amanda discovered her passion for design from her father who was a farmer and a finish carpenter. She helped him build cabinets and furniture, taught her to use power tools, and how to fix almost anything. He gave her invaluable skills in design and construction.

While initially considering an interior design career in high school, she explored electrical engineering and soon found her passion for cabinetry and kitchen design. Her favorite projects are those that allow her to dive deep into the construction process and create something new and beautiful that is also functional.

At LEICHT Scottsdale, she thrives on the diversity of each project and values our in-house installation team because she can be a part of the entire process, from on paper to seeing it all come to life. Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family, working on home improvement projects, cooking, and traveling.

Sara began her career as a realtor in her home state of Wisconsin, where she sold new construction homes for a custom home builder. This experience allowed her to design spaces and assist homeowners with their selections, igniting her passion for interior design.

After relocating to Arizona, she got her degree in interior design to specialize in kitchen design. Her favorite projects involve collaboration, where she can work closely with homeowners, designers, and her team, fostering a creative environment filled with innovative ideas and excitement about possibilities.

At LEICHT Scottsdale, she appreciates the diverse product lines that empower her to create not only beautiful spaces but also functional ones that clients will enjoy for years to come. Sara loves traveling, fine dining, and pursuing her wine education. A morning caramel macchiato is her daily ritual, a perfect blend of caffeine and sweetness to kickstart her day.

Greg is a second-generation carpenter who inherited his passion for the craft from his father and brothers, who specialized in custom stairs. He thrives on tackling complex projects that upon completion, make you wonder how it was even possible. He can’t live without his cordless power planer, allowing him to achieve precision in his craft.

He appreciates the opportunity to collaborate with our talented team, which fuels his creativity and commitment to excellence in every project. Greg enjoys learning new languages, building custom furniture, snowboarding, golfing, gardening, writing music, hiking, and fostering dogs with his wife, Alison.

Kent discovered his passion for carpentry after a friend encouraged him to give it a try, and he hasn’t looked back since. He enjoys a diverse range of projects including T&G work, pocket doors, and shelving. When he’s not building things he loves tacos, art, and music. Kent loves working here because we have a knowledgeable team that fosters a supportive environment, making every day an opportunity to learn and collaborate with great people.

Alec discovered his passion for carpentry through family influence, drawing inspiration from his father, grandfather, and cousin, who all have respectable experience in the craft. Specializing in German cabinetry, he takes pride in installing high-quality kitchens. A tape measure is his indispensable tool, symbolizing precision in his work.

He values the family atmosphere of the company and the high standards that define our projects at LEICHT Scottsdale. Outside of work, Alec enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, hiking, and golfing, which reflect his appreciation for nature and craftsmanship.

When Derek is not at work, you can find him fulfilling his love for the outdoors, whether it's out boating on the lake or exploring terrains on his off-roading adventures. Derek can’t live without his trusty tape measure; it’s the key to precision in every kitchen we create, ensuring that our cabinetry exceeds expectations.
