Amanda discovered her passion for design from her father who was a farmer and a finish carpenter. She helped him build cabinets and furniture, taught her to use power tools, and how to fix almost anything. He gave her invaluable skills in design and construction. While initially considering an interior design career in high school, she explored electrical engineering and soon found her passion for cabinetry and kitchen design. Her favorite projects are those that allow her to dive deep into the construction process and create something new and beautiful that is also functional. At LEICHT Scottsdale, she thrives on the diversity of each project and values our in-house installation team because she can be a part of the entire process, from on paper to seeing it all come to life. Chantel Dueck

Lead Designer

Chantel’s passion for design and architecture began early, sparked as a teenager rearranging her family’s home and reimagining everyday spaces. After earning her degree in design, she launched her career in a boutique furniture showroom, focusing on the softer side of interiors—custom fabrics, drapery, wallpaper, and curated accessories. Seven years ago, Chantel shifted her focus to pursue her true passion: kitchen design, with a specialization in cabinetry. This transition led her to move from Canada to further expand her career in interior design. Today, she is known for her warm, modern aesthetic—layered with personalized details and artistic touches—bringing creativity and intention to every finish selection. At the heart of Chantel’s process is a genuine passion for connection. She values the opportunity to truly understand each client’s vision and transforming them into spaces beyond than they envisioned. She finds great fulfillment in collaborating closely with skilled trades and artisans, fostering strong relationships that elevate every project. She is especially inspired by working with exceptional, luxury products such as Leicht, allowing her to deliver a level of quality and craftsmanship that aligns with her design philosophy. Outside of design, Chantel is often planning her next travel adventure, immersing herself in new cultures, culinary experiences, and the architecture that shapes them. On weekends, she enjoys paddleboarding, hiking, practicing yoga, or spending a relaxed morning walk with her dog Keisha.

Beth Martinec

Lead Designer

Beth grew up in the industry in a family-owned business in upstate New York that her father still runs. She has a varied educational background, explored other careers, but her love of building & interior design brought her back to her roots. Having been in the industry now for over 25 years, joining LEICHT Scottsdale allows her to focus on a more modern design aesthetic and work with a great team & a great product. Beth’s favorite projects completely transform a space. She enjoys the challenge of reimagining environments—the creativity and collaboration with everyone involved. The most rewarding part of her work is having clients that truly love their spaces, and and creating something that exceeds what they could have imagined. Outside of work, Beth has two dressage horses—a retired Morgan and a young Lusitano in training. She spends most of her free time at the barn, riding and training five to six days a week to prepare for competition. Riding has been her passion since she was 10 years old and she can't imagine life without them!
